This has been a good year for butterflies! Lately the Western Tiger Swallowtail has been hanging out here. We watched as it repeatedly returned to the Zinnia ‘Coral Pink Profusion’ yesterday. Zinnias are one of the favorite nectar sources of the swallowtail. They drink from the flowers with their long tongues.
