Black-chinned Hummingbird

Before I talk about plants this morning, I have to show you our new hummingbird feeder, a gift from Shane.  It’s the #1 Hummingbird Feeder, and I can see why. It’s beautiful and functional. We love it, and the hummers do, too.

The hummingbird took a break from sipping nectar to sit on the honeysuckle vine. I like the last picture, where he’s scratching his back with his beak.  The black-chinned hummingbirds nest here every summer.
